You're listening to Daily Truth. We are creatures that even if Adam had never broken the covenant of works, even if he had never

sinned against God, he was still finite. He would not have died physically. He would have gone

on physically living forever, but he would still be finite. He would never be omniscient.

You and I, even in the life to come,

even with our glorified bodies, that will never grow tired, that will never get sick, that will

never die. And even when our fallenness is done away with, as first John says, when we,

when this life ends, we breathe our last and we go to be with Christ Paul says

to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord so on that day where we go to be

present with the Lord because we have died physically in this life first John says that

when we see him we will be like him for we shall see him as he is. That is to say that we will be

sinless. So the category of our fallenness will be done away with, and yet even in our glorified

heavenly existence with God, being done away, completely done away with sin, even then we will no

longer be fallen, but still finite. And what I mean by that,

just one example, is that we will never be omniscient. That is all knowing that even 10,000 years
