They're a blessing from the Lord.

That they're not just the product of happenstance, a random causation, that God actually

directly gives children, specific children, to specific parents.

And he gives them as blessings, as a heritage.

So the question then is, what is the Christian response to receiving a blessing from the Lord?

If children are an intentional, direct heritage from God.

They are a blessing given by God to you.

What is the Christian response to receiving blessing from God?

The world says that the response should be guilt.

And that is precisely the answer that Satan himself gives. And it should come as no shock to us that the world merely echoes the answer of their father. John chapter 8 says

that everyone has a spiritual father. Again, patriarchy is inescapable. Those who do not have God as their father

are not fatherless, but rather they have Satan as their father. Jesus says this. You are not

children of Abraham, and you do not have God as your father. If you did, you would do as Abraham does. You would delight to see
