In chapter 4, verse 12, let no one despise you. Remember, Timothy is a young man, and not just a young man, but he is a young pastor in a local church at Ephesus.

And Paul writes to him and says, young man, young pastor, let no one despise you for your youth.

And Paul, of course, is writing this arbitrarily.

Nobody would ever despise a pastor simply because he's young.

but we could certainly, if not the message, find something wrong with the messenger.
