A Christian gentleman is a fighting man.

If you don't fight, then you are greatly failing, greatly failing in the Christian life.

And what the Bible clearly defines as true gentleness.

Jesus was a fighter.

See, you don't crucify nice guys.

You don't even crucify gentle men in the way that the church in America

has defined gentleness today.

If Jesus was gentle, by American evangelical's definition of gentleness,

he would have never been nailed to a cross.

You don't crucify nice guys.

You crucify threats.

Jesus was bold. At times Jesus was brash. Jesus used even satirical language

against his opposition, against his opponents. Jesus said that the Pharisees were like whitewashed

tombs. They were pretty and bleached on the outside, but on the inside they were like a rotting

corpse that reeked of death and decay.

Jesus says all these kinds of things.

It's satirical language.
