Jesus said, man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of

God. You're listening to Daily Truth. Are we called to have enmity, a holy aversion and

frustration and hatred of the offspring of Satan being, as I just described,

non-Christians. No. Let me say it again. No. Not in that literal one-to-one sense. Let me explain

what I mean by that. The Bible does not teach the universal fatherhood of God.

He is only the father of those who have been united to him through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

But the Bible does teach the universal creatorhood of God,

so that we are all creatures, non-Christians and Christians alike,

made in the image of God. In the very same way,

the Bible doesn't teach the universal fatherhood, but it does creatorhood. The Bible also doesn't

teach universal brotherhood, but it does teach universal neighborhood. So that it is not true,

if you are in Christ, to say that all human beings are your brothers or sisters.

They are only your brothers or sisters if they believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ.

But that being said, the Bible does teach universal neighborhood.

So who is my neighbor? Everyone. Everyone.

Non-Christians and Christians alike. And what does the Bible tell us? What does Christ, our Lord himself tell us, in regards to how we should feel and treat our neighbor.

Love your neighbor as yourself.
