Let's start with that terror attack, though, Ian.

Awful events happened while I was on air on Friday Friday and we all know what's followed in the

weekend since I mean I do think there was a better way for several of the political leaders to

engage with it but it's almost inevitable in the middle of a general election well I'm glad you said

that because that's exactly what I was going to say in some ways, because there's a lot of talk about, oh, well, we shouldn't be

bringing politics into it. I'm sorry, this is, in the end, all about politics, and it's very

naive in the extreme to think that in an election campaign, politicians from both sides,

I won't say are going to exploit it. I actually wouldn't accuse

people of exploiting it, but they have to put down their mark and so, well, this is why

what happened from our point of view and this is why what we think from the other person's

point of view and then the other people hit back. So ine, there's going to be a bit of astusi about

it. I think it would, I do think there's a better way to do it,

but I do understand that in the middle of a campaign,

the speed with which you will want to, as you say, put down a marker about your position on this,
