So, Ian, that Brexit Party, MEP Brexit Party announcement earlier on today, worth

stressing these aren't candidates in the election, their current MEPs. How do you assess

the impact of them saying it's over, back Conservative Party? I think it could have an impact

in quite a few seats because if you are a Brexit party supporter, they are going to give you pause for thought in some of those constituencies now

because there is no doubt that in some of the Conservative Labour marginal,

the intervention of the Brexit party could prevent the Conservatives winning it

and therefore making a Remainer Parliament more likely.

So that's the logic.

And these four have come to this conclusion. Now, if Nigel Farage

had been, how can I put this, in any way, well, he reacted to it in exactly the wrong way,

I think. He basically said, well, they're all Tories, really. They're all friends of Boris.

And I thought, well, that's just simply the wrong thing to say in these circumstances.

You thank them for their service.

You wish them well and just rise above it a little bit.

Whereas what he's done is just antagonise everybody.
