Summary
United face Viktoria Plzeň on Thursday in a critical Europa League fixture, with Ruben Amorim’s team realistically needing at least two wins from the final three games to avoid a play-off. Plzen, or in English vernacular, Pilsner, is the home of the world famous beer and there will be more than a few Reds sampling the local brews on this trip. Away from the beer, Ed and Adam assess United’s chances and think about where Viktoria might be able to hurt the visitors.

| 0:00.0 | Welcome to No Question about that with me, Ed, and it's just me today because Adam's been called away for work. |
| 0:12.7 | Otherwise, I'd be doing the preview with him, talking about Victoria Pleason versus Manchester United in the Europa League today. |
| 0:21.0 | It's a really crucial tie for United for a number of reasons. |
| 0:24.4 | First, obviously, we've lost two games in a row in the Premier League, together with |
| 0:29.6 | that initial draw and a victory under Ruben Amram. |
| 0:33.6 | You know, it's a mixed start, isn't it? |
| 0:36.0 | Not surprised, really. |
| 0:37.4 | Everyone's getting used to the new system, new style of play. |
| 0:40.7 | So it's important for that reason. Also important because United would really, really like to qualify directly in the Europa League for the knockout rounds and not have to go into a playoff, which would mean two extra games in February next year. |
| 0:55.1 | So just a quick reminder before we get onto the game, |
| 0:58.6 | Europa League group phase, top eight qualify automatically, eight games in the group phase. |
| 1:05.6 | It guesstimation at around 15 points to get into the top eight. |
| 1:09.7 | United have nine. |
| 1:11.6 | Nine through 24 playoff against each other |
| 1:14.6 | and a seeded basis to play the top 8 also again seeded |
| 1:18.4 | to be playing the next round and so on from there. |
| 1:21.7 | So two wins for United would probably get us through. |
| 1:26.3 | Three wins would almost certainly definitely get us through. |
| 1:29.6 | Two wins of the draw looks good, but we're not really sure at the moment. So it's a little bit |
| 1:35.9 | knife-edge in the Europa League. And of course, that's important not only for general form |
| 1:40.0 | and potential trophy, but for getting into the Champions League. Although English results are good enough, despite City failing, this season, that it's looking |
| 1:49.9 | good right now as it stands for a fifth Premier League place in next season's Champions |
