Hey everybody, welcome to the Bridge Town Daily for Tuesday, January 5th, to Bridge Town

family warm greeting and to friends following along from wherever you may be in 2021.

Thanks for taking time to listen.

What I want to do today is just once again walk us through the Lord's Prayer as a framework

for daily prayer.

To begin, you may want to turn off any notifications, distractions, get comfortable, but remain in an

alert position.

And then to begin, we just invite the Holy Spirit to come.

An ancient prayer of the church is come Holy Spirit.

And as we walk through, we're going to see the Lord's Prayer as a framework that each

phrase really opens up something much larger to connect with God and connect with our own

experience in God's presence.

So we're just going to walk through each phrase and spend a few moments and we'll just do

it in a few minutes today on this podcast, but this could be something you could spend

countless hours walking through on a personal retreat or on a Sabbath or you could do it

in a short format like we're doing today that could be something that even helps you daily.

So let's begin.

The disciples asked Jesus how to pray and he said, pray this way, our Father.

This means that we are not alone as orphans in a world of scarcity, but we are actually

sons and daughters of the most high God in a world of God's abundance.

Take a moment and begin to thank God, your Father, for His ability to meet every one of

your needs.
