All right let's begin talking a little bit about the golden bachelor no new news to report here although I have been hearing some things again until I get stuff confirmed nothing yet you know who your final two are again it's been up for five days now so I don't feel I need to start saying hey muted if you don't want to know spoilers or fast forward but.

I will this one last time but from this point forward going anytime i'm talking about the golden bachelor and i'm talking about the ending or the spoilers that I have released i'm just going to get right into i'm not going to give anybody a warning but here's your warning three two one you know your final two are Leslie and Teresa your final three is faith have not heard anything filming has wrapped it wrapped on Thursday of last week everything is done they were in Costa Rica for the finale.

I will see when I get to finally hear something obviously I will share it with you immediately and and let you know in terms of the earlier episodes and and what not look we know that Caitlin was part of a group date I do the I do know that Trista was also on a pickleball group date with Gary that was the one on.

August 12th that was open to the public Trista was part of that group date and again it was a pickleball date and we do know that there was just no traveling done before they went to hometowns and Leslie Teresa and faith were your three hometown dates and faith got eliminated at final three so that's what you need to know for golden bachelor doesn't start you know for another four weeks but.

They're going to start running promos quite a bit and once those promos are run obviously we'll be able to see a little more that goes on or whatever i'm sure there's going to be drama in the house i'm just not concerned with it myself I already know Thursdays are just going to be an absolute swamp for me.

Because you know when the bachelor is on like they have never gone to Thursdays since they started this whole we're having our show on money nights like this bachelor nation knows money nights a reserve for the bachelor when it's on whether it's bachelor or bachelor at or bachelor in paradise even when you know they would double up on bachelor at seasons in a given year it was only.

It was still on Mondays to move everything to Thursday is quite a change especially considering how much stuff it's going to be competing against on Thursday nights you've got the survivor you got keep things forever you've got the big brother live show you've got challenge USA on October 12th you're going to have fboy island on CW House of villains on e and you're going to have Thursday night football for the NFL which is going to be.

We're going to dominate the ratings that night so i'm not really sure exactly what they're thinking i understand they want to you know command one night of the week but i'm sorry Thursdays isn't it now Mondays wasn't it either because that's money night football.

I don't know why they didn't stay on Tuesdays because remember when this was first announced it was golden bachelor was going to be on for an hour after a two hour dance with the stars on Mondays and bachelor in paradise would be on Tuesday nights.

I don't really understand I mean maybe it has to do with the strike and maybe they just you know they don't have a ABC just doesn't have any scripted programming and they just want to have every night of the week some sort of either game show or reality show on I guess that's what they're trying to do i'm not really sure but.

That's where we're at I don't really understand it but maybe I'm not supposed to I say that a lot because sometimes I just don't understand things that happen in television and I always follow it with and maybe i'm not supposed to but to ask your audience for three hours on Thursday.

When so many other options are out there that's tough especially when they're used to it being Mondays and ads for me.

I usually don't have columns on Fridays so I need to figure out how I'm going to handle three hours on Thursday nights and to put it into a call like am I going to be writing about the golden bachelor.

Gosh I don't think so am I going to be writing about bachelor in paradise.

I don't know the last thing I really want to do is a Friday column you'll have your daily roundup I'll be talking about both of them on Friday in the daily roundup it'll probably take up most of my Friday podcast.

Of the daily roundup but do I really want to write a column about it.

Not sure we'll have to see as we get closer.
