Welcome everybody, Thursday edition of the Clay Travis and Bucksexton Show kicks off right now.

Biggest story in the world continues to be Israel's war against the terrorists of Hamas.

Currently we have the Biden administration secretary of state, Anthony Blinken,

who has traveled to Tel Aviv trying to both support Israel and this, and I will say Blinken's

statement on this and Biden's statement on the situation in Israel have both been along the lines

of what you would hope would be said by any U.S. administration. It also seems that there's a

move to perhaps make it more difficult for Iran to get its hands on that $6 billion.

So we've got a number of pieces in motion right now. A big part of this is Israeli forces are

striking in the Gaza Strip. Air strikes are underway. You've 300,000 reservists who have been

mobilized. They're going to be making their way through a very challenging urban warfare environment.

The terrorists of Hamas, no doubt, are going to try to maximize civilian casualties as well as

any Israeli casualties that they can, military casualties that they can incur in this process.

It is the stated goal of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netyahu that Hamas will be crushed.

He said, Hamas is ISIS. Just as ISIS will be crushed, so too will Hamas be crushed. So this is now,

we discussed this earlier. I think I said even Clay yesterday that Hamas is al Qaeda and must be

treated with the same degree of, honestly, ferocious response. It calls for exactly what the

Israelis are doing here, which is to go in with a capture kill order for all senior Hamas

leadership. We now have updated numbers on that horrific sneak attack killed 1300 Israelis.

1300 Israelis. So you have the 300,000 reservists have been massed to go into Gaza. You have

ongoing air strikes that are targeting senior Hamas leadership. You have the US Secretary of State

in the region hoping to prevent this from becoming a broader war. But something has just happened
