anyone could have ever anticipated.

A bunch of news stories that are coming down right as we start off the program today.

Let me hit several of those for you.

Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, who has been voting against almost everyone that Trump is

putting forward as a cabinet nominee,

has announced that he will not be running for re-election in 2026.

I would expect that you will hear from Daniel Cameron, friend of the show,

that he will have Senate plans.

There may be others that look to fill that seat.

But Mitch McConnell, just in the last few minutes, announcing he will not be seeking

reelection in 2026.

So Kentuckians, you are on the clock with a Senate open seat that will be coming down the pike next year.

So that is out there.

We also expect that Cash Patel, friend of the show, has been on several times.

Cash in the bank today, my friend.

Cash in the bank, indeed, is going to be confirmed around 145 Eastern as the expectation right now.

That will, I think, basically put a bow on the entirety of Trump's nominees because nobody is going to get shot down, it appears.
