Second hour Clayton Buck kicks off right now. The big news of the day just broke in the last hour.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden's criminal dealings.

That's right, the president's son now has a special counsel looking into his clear crimes.

There's a special counsel looking into Joe Biden's mishandling of classified documents.

There's a special counsel looking at Trump for his handling of classified documents in Mar-a-Lago.

And for January 6th and election 2020 allegations, you know, at some point you start to wonder,

do we have elections in this country? Do we just have prosecutions? What is going on here? It's completely out of control.

I do think that this is getting to the place where people recognize this is not normal. It's not the way it's supposed to be.

And the weaponization of law is something that is bad for the country overall.

I don't know. I think they still believe that Trump will be the loser on all this, both legally and politically, so they're going to hold out.

So this is what Clayton I were discussing before because, okay, at first, at first brush, it's, oh my gosh, this is so bad for the Biden's.

It's clearly not a good thing for Hunter Biden. Or at least I should say it's concerning for Hunter Biden.

But we did have a caller before and I think this is fair to point out.

Weiss has been involved in this all along. Weiss, it seems, was willing to play ball at some level with Hunter.

I think that the challenge that he ran into here in part was of the Democrats making because Clay, he is clearly in violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

And this is the part of it because they're going to keep saying, oh, Hunter just took money, but he didn't, there was no corruption because he didn't do anything.

He didn't have any power and there was no quid pro quo. Yeah, but when you're taking money from China to sell and you're saying it's because you're going to give them access and you don't register as a foreign agent, that's a crime.

Now generally people don't care, but why do people care so much about it now? Or at least why do we care about it?

Because the Mueller prosecution, the Mueller special counsel, used Farrah aggressively.

They sent, I think Manafort got four or five years on the Farrah charge.

So he got sent to federal prison. It's a maximum of five years.

He got sent for a good stretch under the Farrah regulation. So if he did it and he went to prison, why should Hunter Biden put a prison clearly guilty of the same conduct?
