There is a lot of news. Unfortunately much of it is not ideal. We're going to break it all down for you.

The GDP has shrunk by 1.4% in the first quarter of this year.

Some good news, I guess Title 42 has been paused the revocation of that by a federal judge. Joe Biden and the Biden administration has effectively brought to bear a ministry of truth.

ESPN is being sued for not allowing an employee to speak out and say that their vaccine mandate made no sense among other things.

An interesting discussion there based on how many people had to get COVID shots to keep their jobs.

But we begin with what I think has to be the top line story as part of a larger economic failure in the Biden administration.

Unexpectedly, it's amazing how unexpected all the bad economic news is Buck. You never hear

unexpected good news on the economy under Joe Biden. The expectation among economists who forecast these things was that our economy was going to have slowed substantially in the first quarter.

But instead it is actually shrunk. We have moved into negative territory by 1.4%. Combining that with 8.5% inflation is a disastrous economic situation to be sitting at here in the Biden administration.

Let's listen to Maria Bartoromo announced this news and react to it a bit.

The GDP was down 1.4%. Versus an expectation that it was going to be up 1.1%.

To put that in context in the fourth quarter of last year, we had economic growth of 6.9%.

So look how things have changed so quickly. One of the reasons for this decline this morning is the snarls happening for our supply chains.

However, inflation is out of control 40 years high. Several months ago I mentioned to you recession. Those cries about recession are getting louder recession just to remind our viewers.

Two quarters of negative growth. We are now looking at the first quarter of negative growth down 1.4% on GDP today.

Here's what I would say in general. Buck, I think it's unfortunate. I feel like it's likely we're going to hit a recession.

We just hit 1.4% of negative growth. We wouldn't hire Joe Biden to be employed in any way on our radio show.

I wouldn't hire him in any way to work at Outkick. I can't imagine that most of you would hire him to work anywhere at your places of business if you were in charge of hiring.
