My name is Caleb, and today I'm joined by my father, Dr. Scott Keith, and by Dr. Rod Rosenblatt.

We are towards the end of the small catechism in our series on the Book of Concord.

We started just over two and a half months ago, so that's actually a pretty decent pace,

I think.

Went a little quicker than I initially thought, which is fine, which means we might actually

get through the Book of Concord in the course of a year, depending on how much we slow

down in other places. Although this is the

shortest of any of the documents that we'll be reading. By a good amount.

By a good amount. And so, yeah, it kind of makes sense, but still it's been fun. I got some

notes from some families that joined us during this

series who listened to the show with their children, and I want to just say thank you. I'm glad

you found it useful as we did this. And as we close it out with this episode, as we close

a small catechism out,

I hope that you'll continue with us through into the large catechism and the like,

because the chances are you've probably gone over the small catechism.

If you're a Lutheran a couple times in your life,

probably did it at confirmation.

It's not unusual for churches to spend like a month or two and do like a Bible study over the small catechism every once in a while too.

But it's probably much less common that people have spent a lot of time or any time studying

the large catechism,

right?
