Good morning in the news this morning.

A massive water main break sent water shooting into the air and flooded the street in the city's Crescentville section Monday morning. It started at 3 a.m. on the 300 block of East Godfrey

Avenue. Neighbors say they woke up to the sound of gushing water outside of their homes. Some

reported seeing a water main break spraying about 20 feet into the air. The water was hitting

electrical wires that are directly overhead and the runoff

form to stream on the flooded street. So far, there are no reports of evacuations and traffic

obviously being detoured from the area. Police announced an investigation into a St. Patrick's Day

celebration that turned violent in Delaware County. Six ABC obtained a video that shows a Chester

police officer striking a young woman in the face with a weapon after the woman appears to push him.

Police say they responded to reports of a riot Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m. in the 900 block of East 16th Street.

Investigators say a violent altercation broke out when a group forced its way into a party inside of a home and assaulted several people.

Moments later, police say 20-year-old Dominique Defiore struck a police sergeant and was taken

into custody. Chester Police say DeFiorre struck the police sergeant first. In part of a statement

released Sunday, Chester Police Department Chief James Nolan said a partial video of the event is

circulating on various social media platforms.

The incident, the video, the level of force using connection with the event are all currently

under investigation.

In addition, the woman arrested, to the woman arrested, police also took into custody,

21-year-old Sean Conley, 20-year-old Tess Herman, and 18-year-old Jalene Westfall.
