There was an interesting article that came out with, it was in BuzzFeed.

The title is 35 very specific things you saw every single time you went to your grandma's house.

And I remember, and obviously this was pre-video games and all this stuff, when I was a kid,

when I would be at my grandparents' house and I would have like all day by myself just wandering.

I mean, there were other people in house, but there was no other kids to play with.

There's nothing for you to do.

I needed to fill time.

I had to kind of just find things to get into and do.

So I would do a lot of just going through dresser drawers and just, you know, whatever, just nosing around.

And I remember things like playing with my grandfather's old shoe shine kit.

Oh, yeah. Right? Yeah. Okay. Do they have the buffer thing too that like spun two ways? Not that,

not the electrical one, but like the brushes and all and obviously I'd get into the shoe polish itself,

which is a total mess. But I remember things like that.

Marissa, you brought in for show and tell the old adding machine with the hand crank

and all that stuff that my other grandparents, they had one of those.

I would always play with that.

Well, I clearly remember.

There are certain things that you would have, like I remember that old-style TV remote with like a button on and off and like one thing that would manually

turn the dial. And the thing looked like in Star Trek, they'd have those tricorders. It looked,

it was that freaking big. And that was a big, big thing at my grandparents' house.
