Good morning in the news this morning.

Three people were killed in two separate crashes on I-78 in

Berks County Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. The first crash happened at about 8.30 Tuesday

in the eastbound lanes of 78 in Tilden Township. One person was killed in a four-vehicle crash,

which involved a school bus. Police say an empty school bus, two cars and a tractor trailer

were all involved in the wreck. Police confirm that one person did die.

There was no immediate word on other injuries.

The eastbound lanes of the highway were closed for hours following the crash.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

And then overnight, about 10 miles down the highway, a second deadly crash also shut down

the eastbound lanes.

Police say two tractor trailers collided about one

mile west of exit 19 in Strauss Town. The coroner pronounced two people dead at the scene. There was no

immediate word on the cause of that crash either. The Aden Police Department, the FBI issued a search

warrant for a man accused of targeting delivery drivers. Police say 22-year-old Joseph Terrell Mekyll allegedly placed a food order at best quality pizza on November 9th and arranged to have it delivered to a random Yadenboro address.

Upon the driver's arrival just before 9 p.m., officials say Makel and at least one other unknown suspect pointed a firearm at the victim and stole the vehicle before fleeing the scene.

The driver was not injured.

Authorities say the suspect threw the pizza driver's cell phone out the window as he fled.
