Today is a Monday. It is December 10th. Good morning. Kathy.

Good morning. In the news this morning, approximately 180 firefighters are battling a massive 5-alarm apartment fire in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia.

At least 50 people have been evacuated into the cold. The fire started around 2.15 this morning on the 900 block of North

63rd Street. A fifth alarm was struck at about 440 this morning. Arriving crews were met with

flames shooting out of the fourth floor of the four-story apartment building. Two firefighters were

being treated for after suffering minor burns. The apartment complex collapsed. So fire officials had to evacuate neighboring buildings, and they're saying the firefighters

are not entering the building because of those conditions, but they continue to battle the blaze

from the outside.

At this time, fire officials are not sure if everyone was evacuated from the inside, and a

cause obviously has yet to be determined.

I can't imagine what a nightmare that is.

So you've got the intense heat of the fire itself. You have the brutal cold. You're battling all this stuff. It's just couldn't get worse. Yeah, and we talk about this every year when it gets this cold. But I heard this morning on the news when they were saying, you know, the water was freezing. Of course. You know, the whole thing. Yeah. And then obviously this fire that they can't get inside the building.

They're trying to, you know, take control of it from the outside. But yeah, it is still, they said 180 firefighters out there. Yeah. The search intensifies for a missing mother from Colorado. 29-year-old Kelsey Barrett was last seen in the Woodland Park Safeway Grocery Store on November 22nd, but if her family hadn't

heard from her after that. Barrett's mother called police for a welfare check on November 25th, but

she hasn't, she wasn't there. Barreth was officially reported missing shortly after that.

Little is known about her disappearance. In a Facebook post, her brother Clint says the only

thing that was gone was her purse. He says he doesn't think that she was leaving town.

Her suitcases, cars, and makeup were still at the residence all untouched.

Woodland Park Police told East Idaho news that Barrath's phone was last pinged at a cell phone
