In the news this morning, the search continues for a six-year-old girl who was in the backseat of a car that was stolen from outside a Philadelphia pizza shop Tuesday night. Police say it happened at 9.30 Tuesday in the city's Germantown section. A male suspect jumped into the vehicle and took off with the child still inside. Investigators were interviewing employees of the pizza place who may have seen the man before the incident.

The car was last seen driving down Green Street. The vehicle is described as a Burgundy or Maroon 2007 Scion T.C. Two-door sedan, a former brand of Toyota. I just got an Amber Alert about it. Yeah, Marissa told me she got it as well. Moments ago. Yeah, so the little girl's been missing since last night. And usually when this happens, they say, you know, they realize there's a kid in the back seat and then they, you know, they'll drop the car and hopefully, you know, find the kid.

But, you know, we're here this morning and they still haven't found her.

So police say that one of the vehicles, fog lights is out.

It has Pennsylvania license plate, license plate LKV 1067. The child was last seen wearing a pink puffy jacket and tan khaki pants. The mother was taken to the special

victim's unit to be interviewed. Police were checking homes of other family members across the

city in case the child may show up there. Police used a helicopter to try to track down the

vehicle, but there was no sign of it. All ground units citywide are looking for the vehicle.

Police say there has been a recent increase in stolen vehicles in that area. Anyone with

information is asked to contact police, you can call 215-6-86 tips or you can dial 911.

The former director of a Chester County private school for young children is facing charges after authorities say she failed to immediately report abuse involving a teacher.

39-year-old Tiffany Nichols, who was the director of the Malvern School in Westtown, was arrested on December 7th on charges of endangering the welfare of children and failure to report child abuse.

According to the Chester County District Attorney's Office, Victoria Aronson, a teacher at the Malvern

School, was arrested in October for allegedly physically abusing the children.

Authorities say the abuse were reported to Nichols on multiple occasions, but authorities were not

notified in a timely fashion.
