Pennsylvania liquor stores have been busier than usual since the state's health department imposed a one-night shutdown of alcohol sales at bars and restaurants on

Thanksgiving Eve. The alcohol sales suspension begins Monday, I'm sorry, begins today at 5 p.m. and we'll

stay in effect through 8 a.m. Thanksgiving Day. Health officials are hoping to curb what they feel

would be a rapid spread of the virus on a popular drinking night.

Foot traffic at the state stores has been steady, indoor capacity is at 25 percent, so you may even see lines to get into the stores.

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board says early numbers show on a typical Monday their stores rake in about $4 to $6 million.

Officials reported close to $10 million in liquor sales. If you do need alcohol tonight and you can't get to the state store, the Philadelphia-based GoPuff says that they will be delivering. Well, they're going to be delivering alcohol in the city if you do need something and they'll even hang out and drink it with you

But also, all the local restaurants can sell beer and alcohol to go. So all those restaurants, I can't sell it after 5 o'clock. If you're sitting there, can sell to go to. Take it out to your car.
