Good morning in the news this morning.

Pennsylvania's Democratic Lieutenant Governor John Thetterman will win the state's marquee Senate race, ABC News, predicts, handing Democrats a major flip in their bid to keep

control of the 50-50 upper chamber. Fetterman ran against Dr. Mehmet Oz and the GOP nominee

and celebrity surgeon. The two sought to succeed retiring Republican Senator Pat Toomey.

Federman easily won the Democratic primary in May over Conor Lamb,

despite suffering a stroke just days before. Fetterman will join Pennsylvania's senior senator,

Democrat Bob Casey, in the upper chamber. Democrat Josh Shapiro won the race for governor in Pennsylvania,

securing the office for four years in a state where the future of abortion rights is on the line,

along with the management of the 2024 election in a battleground that is often decisive in choosing

presidents. And since we do have listeners in Maryland, I feel as though I should give an update on

the Moore Cox race. Oh, the Moore Cox race. Yeah. Okay. Democrat West Moore made history in

2022, becoming Maryland's first African American governor beating out Republican Dan Cox.

Well, that was the battle. Of course, you had a large and vagina.

That was highly contest.

It was very close. Could have gone either way. In or out.

At the end.

Yeah.

Steve, I heard for a stretch that race was really tight.

That was tight. And then it just opened up and stretched.
