Good morning in the news this morning.

New Jersey Democratic Governor Phil Murphy narrowly won re-election Wednesday, eking out a victory that spread Democrats, the loss of a second gubernatorial seat.

He's the state's first Democratic governor to get a second straight term in 44 years defending Republican former Assembly member Jack Chittarelli.

The Associated Press called the race Wednesday evening when a new batch of votes from Republican-leaning Mamath County increased Murphy's lead and closed the door to a Chittarelli comeback.

Ballots remaining to be counted included a significant number of votes from predominantly Democratic

Essex County, along with mail-in votes spread across other counties. Murphy has won the mail-in

vote by a wide margin, even in Republican

leaning counties like Mammoth. Chidorelli spokesperson, Sammy Williams, disputed the call because

of the close margin, calling it irresponsible. Murphy delivered a brief speech in Asbury Park's

boardwalk convention hall, nodding to the race's narrow margin by saying he would work for both

those who voted for him and against him.

But there was no trace he planned to scale back the left-leaning position he's taken during his first term.

Millions of doses of Pfizer's pediatric COVID-19 vaccine are being shipped out across the country.

They are being sent to a variety of providers throughout the Delaware Valley,

including hospitals, urgent care centers, doctors, offices, and pharmacies. In Philadelphia,

children can be vaccinated at any city-run community clinic, most pharmacies, health care centers,

and pediatricians offices. You can find where to get vaccinated using vaccine.gov.

In addition, the Pennsylvania Department of Health said many health care providers, schools and community organizations may be planning local vaccine

clinics to allow children to receive the vaccine at a convenient location and time over the coming
