Good morning in the news this morning.

Pennsylvania plans to offer $20 million in relief to the state's suffering

hospitality industry. The governor announced Thursday in amount trade groups called woefully

inadequate for helping bars and restaurants survive the pandemic. The state intends to waive

liquor license fees for 2021 for more than 16,000 restaurants and bars, clubs, caterers, and

hotels said Democratic Governor Tom Wolfe, who recently vetoed

Republican legislation that would have loosened pandemic restrictions on the food and beverage

sector. The plan requires approval by the Pennsylvania Liquor Board, Liquor Control Board. Industry

groups say that it will barely make a dent in their members' staggering financial losses.

Bars and restaurants have been reeling from the pandemic and the state's

efforts to contain it. The Wolf administration imposed occupancy limits and other rules,

including a prohibition on bar seating and a requirement that alcohol be served with food,

the state officials, that state officials say are necessary to limit the spread of the coronavirus.

Restaurants run in a very thin profit margin to begin with.

A search is underway for a suspect after a man was shot during a post-funeral gathering in Ardmore, Delaware County on Thursday afternoon.

It happened in the 2,600 block of East County Line Road.

Haverford Township Police Chief John Viola says a fight broke out between two families at a post-funeral gathering being held at a social hall.
