So, Kathy's out, so I'll handle the news duties.

We'll begin with this.

A jury found Philadelphia bicycle delivery man, not guilty Thursday,

voluntary manslaughter and the fatal stabbing of a real estate developer. The jury agreed

that 22-year-old Michael White had acted in self-defense in the July 2018 stabbing of 37-year-old

Sean Schellinger during a confrontation sparked by a traffic dispute near Rittenhouse Square.

Jurors found White guilty of tampering with evidence.

Charges that stemmed from throwing the knife onto a roof as he fled and disposing of his bloody clothes.

District Attorney Larry Krasner dropped a third-degree murder charge before the trial,

leaving only voluntary manslaughter and weapons counts, a decision strongly criticized by Schellinger's

mother. Her name is Linda, by the way, and she said, I'd like Larry Krasner arrested for

obstruction of justice. He has blood on his hands, and Michael White does as well. So they actually

want the district attorney held on charges, which I doubt will happen. But in a statement,

Krasner said, we follow the facts and the law in seeking justice, and we respect the verdict of

the jury in this factually and legally complex case.

The jury had started deliberations Wednesday afternoon after hearing three days of testimony,

in which both sides largely agreed on the facts.

Schellinger had been drinking with friends at a nearby restaurant before the confrontation

with White, who was riding past the traffic dispute on his way to deliver food.
