Good morning in the news this morning. Lower Marion Township Police believe a purse theft

at a grocery store in Winwood could be tied to six other incidents in Haverford Township. The theft in Winwood

happened shortly before 4 o'clock on October 9th. Police report that the surveillance video

shows the suspect approaching the victim's shopping cart in the parking lot, removing the victim's

purse, and then walking through the lot towards Cloverhill Road and out of the camera's view.

It turns out the Haverford Township Police have had six similar purse thefts all at

supermarkets since September 26.

The suspect in each incident is wearing a full black burqa with their face covered.

Police said the suspect's vehicle is a white Cadillac SUV with a PA registration.

The SUV was used during one of the

thefts in Havertown. The registration is listed as stolen and people in the SUV were seen

switching out registration plates at a nearby store after the theft. Anyone with information is

asked to contact police. This looks like the work of the purse bandit. Well, you know what? A couple of

people that I know have had this happen to them. Getting clipped the same way? Yeah, getting the purse. They didn't have their whole purse, but the wallet, you know, the purse, you go to the store, you put it in the shopping cart, the purse maybe is open, whatever, and I guess her purse was opened and the wallet was in plain view and they just snag the wallet from her.

A mother is accused of shooting and killing her husband and their two young children

inside of Philadelphia home. Authorities have identified the suspect as 28-year-old

Demira Jones Alcindor. She is expected to be charged with the triple murder. A neighbor

called police after hearing gunshots around 10 o'clock in the evening on Monday in the 6300 block of Harriman Street and Taconey. According to authorities, a 38-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. A 10-month-old infant and a 4-year-old girl were taken to the area hospitals. They later died of their injuries. Police also found the 28-year-old woman at the scene with a self-inflicted wound to her head.

Police believe that Alcindar shot all three of the victims and turned the gun on herself.
