In the news this morning, United States Postal Service inspectors said that they are working

to determine who is responsible for dumping dozens of pieces of personal mail in Philadelphia's Eastwick section.

Diane Caesar, a resident of Eastwick, was on a walk with her dog Tuesday morning when she spotted the pile of envelopes.

Mail belonging to several people both opened and unopened were found scattered in the woods.

The mail carrier container was flipped over and emptied.

Some of the envelopes also included several money orders that obviously didn't make it to their intended destinations.

Despite a clearly stating sign that it's a private property, they say that dumping is an issue and there's actually a $300 fine for the area.

We've had stories like this.

So wondering if maybe it's a carrier who's dumping it?

So they released a statement.

The post office released a statement saying they don't believe an employee is involved in this.

Because I was telling a story about I'd sent my license renewal a while ago, you know, by mail, and it never got there.

I mean, my wife had sent, as of late, we've had a couple things that were sent standard mail.

And it never made it.
