Philadelphia police have arrested a woman accused of encouraging looters while live on social media Tuesday night.

21-year-old Deja Blackwell, also known as Meatball, allegedly used her social media platform to encourage

people to engage in looting at several locations and is alleged to have engaged in criminal

activities herself, according to the district attorney's office. Steve, you were asking yesterday, you were like, if there's a, you know, how do you organize this many people to do something like this? Most likely easiest way social media, there had to be some evidence out there. And you saw the video, I'm sure, where she's going on and on and on. streaming live from the various sites where they were looting. Nice job, idiot. Yeah, didn't think she would get caught. And then the cops come over to the side of the car and she's, I'm not, I'm not doing anything. They've been watching the stream. They know exactly what's been going on. A couple of years ago, Preston, might have been at the Chrysher, you know, the pandemic, the outdoor show. Outdoor show, yeah. I was talking to some police officers. They say, you won't, they're, they monitor social media all the time to look for insight into what might be going on criminally. Yeah, sure. And certainly, here's a perfect example. What kind of following does she have? Do we know? I don't know. About 100,000? Is it? Okay. So she is charged with burglary, conspiracy, criminal trespass, riot, criminal

conduct. Blackwell has since posted bail and is due back in court next month. She was

arrested on the 5,600 block of Rising Sun Avenue after being observed by officers at a gas station.

Blackwell was one of 52 people taken into custody by police on Tuesday.
