Good morning in the news this morning. The city of Philadelphia reached a grim milestone

as more than 400 lives have fallen victim to gun violence. At least four people died and 10 others were injured in the gun violence just over this weekend. A man was shot outside of the Philadelphia Marriott early Monday morning. One of the city's latest shooting left one person dead and two others injured at Hancock and Lippincott streets at 5.11 a.m. on Sunday. A 31-year-old woman was shot in the chest and later died at the hospital. The shooting also critically injured a 39-year-old woman while a 37-year-old male victim is expected to survive his injuries. I am heartbroken and outraged that we've lost more than 400 Philadelphiaans to

preventable violence this year. My heart goes out to all of the families suffering from enormous

grief. Our administration continues to act with urgency to reduce violence and save lives, said

Mayor Jim Kenney in a statement Sunday morning. Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said in a statement

that she's devastated by the rising homicide rate.

Our department continues to make a record number of crime, gun confiscations and a number of arrests of the individuals in possession of them.

However, this is not nearly enough.

We will continue to work with our law enforcement and community partners to bring to justice those who seek to cause harm to our beautiful city and

its people at it outlaw. Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner is hosting a news conference

on Monday morning where he's expected to address the ongoing violence. And officials want to remind

the public that tips to police can remain anonymous by calling 215-68 tips886 tips. Police in Montgomery County are investigating a

double shooting at a Wawa parking lot that sent two people to the hospital. Investigators say

the violence broke out at about 3.30 in the morning at the Wawa on Ridge Pike and Conjahawken

Road and Plymouth Township. Sources say a group of young women, either in their teens or early 20s, started a fight overnight. One of them pulled out a gun and shot a couple in their mid-40s. Investigators say both victims were shot in the leg and transported to the hospital. Bullets shattered windows and police used coffee cups to mark the casings. By 9 a.m., the store was back open. Investigators are trying to figure out how the fight

started, and they have not yet made any arrest, but the shooting did leave a lot of neighbors on edge.

Chief's coach, Andy Reed, is resting in unstable condition after being taken to a hospital

following Kansas City's 3024 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. The Chiefs released a statement

Sunday night saying Reed was evaluated by the medical staff in the locker room after the game
