Good morning in the news this morning.

An explosion of gunfire on a basketball court left two

people dead and two others injured on Wednesday night in Philadelphia. It happened just after

815 on the 1800 block of Wallace Street near the Clement Recreation Center in the City's

Spring Garden Center. Dozens of people were in the park and on the basketball court when police

say roughly 55 shots rang out. Two men, a 22-year-old and an 18-year-old both died in the park and on the basketball court when police say roughly 55 shots rang out. Two men, a 22-year-old and an

18-year-old, both died in the shooting. Police say that they do have video of three males entering

the playground and then targeting the deceased male. The victim was chased around the playground

and shot multiple times in the torso. Two other men also suffered gunshot wounds. Both men are hospitalized

at this time. One is listed in stable condition. The other is listed in critical condition.

Police say at this point that they have one man in custody who was fleeing in Alexis with a gun.

Two additional suspects are still being sought at this time. Anyone with information about the

shooting is asked to contact police.

U.S. Attorney William McSwain gave a strong warning to homeless encampment protesters in Philadelphia on Wednesday night.

I'm watching this situation closely, he says.

If anybody at the encampment defies the police and commits any federal crimes in the process,

here is your warning.
