Authorities swarmed an area in northern Chester County on Monday night after another confirmed sighting of escape murderer, De Nello Cavalcante. The 34-year-old is believed to be on the run in South Coventry Township, and Pennsylvania State Police say he is now armed. In a social media post just before 2 a.m. Tuesday, police said the escape prisoner may be in the area of Ridge Road, Coventryville Road, and Daisy Point Road.

Police in the air first spotted the convict in a field on the 1900 block of Fairview Road on Monday night, according to sources.

The area is located within a search perimeter near Route 100 and Pryzer Road in South Coventry Township.

A pair of shoes that are believed to be Cavalcante's were found according to sources and shortly after investigators received reports of shots being fired. Now, 6 ABC confirmed that a homeowner on the 3,500 block of Coventryville Road in East Natmobile Township shot at someone matching Cabal Conte's description. It's believed if the individual was hit, sorry, it's unclear if the individual

is hit because there was no blood found at the scene, but sources believe the person was the convicted

killer and they're saying now that he gained access to a 22 rifle. Residents in East Natmiel and

South Coventry townships are asked to lock all external doors and windows, secure vehicles,

and remain indoors.

O'N.J. Roberts School District just announced this morning that they will close today due to the

increase in activity in the area. The inmate has been on the run since he broke out of the

Chester County Prison on August 31st. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

You know, we've had escaped convicts, but I cannot remember anything like this.

Going on this long and a convict with the crime, you know, so severe. Yeah, a brutal crime.

And obviously, they said right from the get-go, they talked about how potentially lethal he could be and what what his you know he was

had nothing to lose well and listen now he has a gun yeah like that's not going to fare well for him
