Good morning in the news. This morning, Americas are commemorating 9-11 with ceremonies,

volunteering appeals to never forget in rising attention to the terror attacks extended toll on responders.

A crowd of victims' relatives is expected at ground zero today, while President Donald Trump

is scheduled to join in an observance at the Pentagon.

Vice President Mike Pence is to speak at the third attack site near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Former President George W. Bush, the commander-in-chief at the time of the 2001 attacks,

is due at an afternoon w. Lange at the Pentagon.

18 years after the deadliest terror attack on American soil,

the nation is still grappling with the aftermath at ground zero in Congress and beyond.

The attack's aftermath is visible from airport security

checkpoints to Afghanistan. The anniversary ceremonies center on remembering the nearly 3,000 people

killed when hijacked planes rammed into the Trade Center, the Pentagon in a field in Shanksville

on September 11, 2001. All those victims' names are read aloud at Ground Zero ceremonies where moments of silence

and bells mark the moments when aircrafts crashed into the Trade Center's twin towers.

The Garden of Reflection in Lower Makefield, Bucks County will hold a ceremony of its own today,

honoring the nine people in Lower Makefield Township and 18 people total in Bucks County who lost

their lives on that horrifying day 18 years ago. Philadelphia's acting police commissioner Christine Coulter was in city

council chambers on Tuesday afternoon speaking about a racially insensitive t-shirts she wore

in the 90s. Coulter says she is profoundly sorry. She has been criticized lately after the Philadelphia
