Good morning. In the news this morning, Tropical Storm Florence, turned into a hurricane and is swirling towards the east coast for what could be a direct hit toward the end of the week.

The storm's sustained winds reached 75 miles per hour just over the threshold for a hurricane

as it made its way...

As it's made its way across the Atlantic, about 750 miles southeast of Bermuda, the National

Hurricane Center said, it's moving west at six miles per hour.

The Miami-based center said that it was still too early to predict the hurricane's exact path,

but that a huge coastal area from northern Florida to North Carolina could prepare for a major hit.

It is forecast to approach the southeastern U.S. coast on Thursday. So they're thinking,

but most likely they're saying the Carolinas, right? Yeah, that's what I saw. The governors of

North and South Carolina and Virginia declared states of emergency to give them time to prepare,

and the Navy said ships in Virginia's Hampton Roads area would leave port for their own safety.

Dangerous swells generated by Florence affected Bermuda and have begun to reach parts of the eastern seaboard in our area, they're saying could be affected by heavy rain.

Serena Williams was fined $17,000 on Sunday for a total of three code violations during her loss to Naomi Osaka in the U.S. Open Final.

$4,000 of the fine was being warned for coaching, I'm sorry, was for being warned for coaching

after her coach made a hand gesture to her, $3,000 for breaking her racket and $10,000
