news this morning, Philadelphia International Airport will be the second airport in the nation to receive evacuees from Afghanistan. Two planes, each carrying 200 to 300 people, could land at the airport as early as Friday or Saturday. A spokeswoman for the mayor's office confirmed that Philly International will receive Afghan evacuees, but did not confirm the timing or the amount of people. Philly International will be the second airport in the nation to receive arrivals from Afghanistan

as part of the operation.

Dulles International Airport in Virginia was the first.

Philadelphia stands in solidarity with Afghan refugees and we look forward to providing

them a safe haven in our welcoming cities, said Mayor Jim Kenney.

The arrivals will come after at least 60 Afghans and 13 U.S.

troops were killed during bombings in Afghanistan on Thursday. Officials had two suicide bombers

and gunmen attacked crowds at the airport in Afghanistan. The Islamic State Group claimed responsibility

for the killings. The Taliban were not believed to have been involved in the attacks and condemned the blast. President Joe Biden said the latest bloodshed would not drive the U.S. out of Afghanistan earlier than scheduled and that he has instructed the U.S. military to develop plans to strike.

Philadelphia police released new images on Thursday showing what the infamous Fairmount Park rapists could look like as the search for him continues nearly 20 years after the first attack.

Three images released at an afternoon news conference showed a Latino man at 25 years old, 40 years old, and then 60 years old.

Police say the images were created using DNA phenotypic analysis, which uses DNA to

predict the physical characteristics of the subject. Basically, they're making him look older in

case, you know, you were encounter him. You might know, you might recognize him from the sketch.

So what this technology does is treat your DNA like a blueprint and what your physical appearance is or may be, said the Philadelphia Police Lab Manager Ryan Gallagher. I wonder how accurate stuff like this is. I mean, I thought there was going to be more in this because you had an announcement yesterday. I thought maybe they actually had a suspect in my know. Yeah, that's what I was hoping. No, they were releasing these because they're not given up they're still looking for him I mean I know I know yeah over the years

they've done forensic they bring in experts that try to you know assume what someone might look like

you know over the course of age you know 15 20 years whatever it is and sometimes they get it

fairly close yeah yeah I'm curious if this is, I hadn't heard of this before.
