Hi, today is Wednesday. It is August 9th. Kathy's out. I'll handle the news.

We'll start with this story. Four people were injured after a wrongway driver

caused a chain reaction crash in Havertown. And it happened just before 7 p.m. yesterday at

Westchester Pike and North Eagle Road. An SUV was wedged between a septibus and a tractor trailer.

Actually up off of the ground and wedged in between the two vehicles.

According to police, the driver of the SUV crossed over into the westbound lanes of Westchester Pike,

causing a crash involving at least four other vehicles.

A witness described the vehicle as riding on the median of Westchester Pike.

And police believe the SUV driver may have been suffering from a medical emergency.

The SUV driver and three others were injured and taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

SEPTA in part in a statement said, the investigation shows that the septa bus operator followed all proper procedures.

The operator is receiving medical observation, but fortunately did not suffer any serious injuries,

nor did any passengers.

It's pretty amazing when you see the footage.

You look like multiple people would have been hurt or killed in an accident like that.

The 2023 Made in America festival in Philadelphia

has been canceled.
