Good morning. In the news this morning, Philadelphia police say one man was injured after an altercation inside chickies and peats led to a gun battle outside of the restaurant on Thursday night. It happened just before 8 o'clock in the 6200 block of Mulberry Street in the city's Mayfair section. The shootout began when three men inside the bar made a comment to a woman passing by. She then told her boyfriend who was outdoors dining. Police say the boyfriend who had a license to carry went back into the business to flash his gun. The altercation then spilled out onto the street. The woman's boyfriend, a 23-year-old man, was shot in the abdomen. He was rushed to an area hospital where he's listed in critical but stable condition. No other injuries were reported. Roughly 20 people were inside the restaurant when the

gunfire erupted outdoors. Police say eight shell casings were recovered at the scene. No arrests

have been made. Police are looking for three suspects who may have be, may be driving a white

Nissan Maxima. Anyone with information is asked to contact police by calling 215-6-86 tips.

A 10-year-old boy is recovering after police say he was pulled from a pool and received

CPR from a lifeguard Thursday afternoon in West Philadelphia.

According to police, the child went underwater when his father briefly looked away.

It's unclear what caused the child to require medical attention.

A lifeguard, and a 19th district police officer pulled a boy from the water and performed CPR,

police said. The child started breathing on his own and was taken to chop.

The willingness of lifeguards to help the child is being disputed by witnesses.

Two people say the lifeguards hesitated to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

Tracy Colston, who was at the pool with her grandchildren, says that she performed mouth-to-mouth

while the lifeguard immediately assisted the boy.
