Good morning in the news this morning.

Police say a man shot and killed his wife and their three children for turning the gun on himself in Price's Corner, Delaware. 42-year-old Matthew Edwards, his wife, 41-year-old Julie Burton Edwards, and their children. Six-year-old Jacob, four-year-old Brinley, and three-year-old Paxton were found shot to death in the second floor of their home. Police say Matthew Edwards died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound and the deaths have been ruled a murder suicide. So this was the story that we were talking about yesterday morning. We weren't sure. Police were called about 8 o'clock Monday to the home on the 2700 block of Ferris Road. A longtime neighbor who wished to remain anonymous spoke to 6ABC and said that he spoke to Matthew on Sunday. He said that the father of three had been emotional about work and marital issues.

The neighbor consoled him and told Matthew to just worry about your kids.

On Julie Edwards' social media accounts in recent days, there were signs of joy and celebration for the family.

Julie recently posted that Jacob, who has William's syndrome, celebrated a five-year anniversary of successful

open-heart surgery. She also posted a video of the kids playing in the backyard. Neighbors say

that they are completely shocked. They say Julie was a good mother and they often saw Matthew

playing in the yard with the kids. One neighbor who had become friends with Julie over the past

six years explained that Julie was very active as a volunteer for the national organization, the Williams Syndrome Association, obviously because of her son. She said Matthew Edwards always seemed to be a very nice, laid-back guy, but that his job kept him out of town quite a bit, and lately Julie indicated that there was some kind of strain on their marriage. Julie recently lost a lot of weight, 50 to 60 pounds. Her friend said that she

worked really hard. She was eating right, getting up with kids, going to the park, and she says she doesn't think that Matthew was happy about that. Still, police are asking if anyone has information about the incident to contact the Delaware State Police Homicide Unit. Hard to believe. Yeah. Terrible. Hard to wrap your mind around. And the picture of the wife and the three adorable kids.

was from her Facebook page of the kids in an inflatable pool, just having a wonderful time. I can't watch it. I won't. You know, like I looked up and I don't want to look at the screen. I just don't want to do it. Like it just, it breaks my heart. And you know what I thought when I saw the picture, I'm like, he couldn't have done them all at the same time. So somebody witnessed something, you know, before they were all gone. Yeah. Which is terrible, the poor little things. The dramatic three-day rescue of a Thai youth soccer team that had been stuck in a flooded cave came to an end Tuesday when the last boy and the team's coach were plucked from the underground cavern more than two weeks after they became trapped Navy officials said the Thai Navy SEAL said all 12 boys from the team and the team's coach were out of the cave. Four rescuers, a doctor, and three Navy SEALs remained inside until coming out of the cave two hours later. So, wait, they weren't American Navy SEALs? They were Thai Navy SEALs?

Yeah, correct.
