Today is Thursday, June 30th. Good morning, Kathy. Good morning. In the news this morning,

the Delaware County District Attorney's Office confirms that a man was shot and killed in an apparent road rage shooting on Wednesday morning.

Investigators believe the victim was shot and killed for driving too slow in rush hour traffic.

It happened at State Road, Route 1 near Meeting House Lane in Springfield Township just before 9 a.m.

Authorities say the victim, 54-year-old King Hua and his wife were traveling in a white Toyota southbound on State Road when a female driver of a vehicle passed them on the shoulder.

The vehicle then stopped and a male passenger partially got out and fired shots at the victim's Toyota.

The bullets went through the windshield and hit him.

The victim's wife said, or the victim's wife was screaming for help.

Witnesses say he was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries. The suspects fled,

the suspect's vehicle fled the township police say it was described as a black car SUV.

Investigators are asking anyone who was driving in the area at the time of the incident

and witnessed anything to call them. They are also asking nearby residents to check their cameras to see if they captured videos or images of the driver. You can't even say, so, okay, so maybe they're going to, they're just, he was going to shoot at the car and make a, make a statement. There's a bullet hole right over the driver's side yeah right center right in the

windshield yeah oh also you're looking at the car and i don't know what this is all about but the um

the passenger side front tire's all mangled i don't know if they hit something or what probably

he was driving yeah yeah a colorado man was sentenced to spend the rest of his life behind bars for kidnapping and

raping multiple homeless women.

33-year-old Joseph Gabrielle Vanek was sentenced to between 162 years and life in prison

for kidnapping and sexually assaulting the victims in Denver in 2020.

The investigation into the attack began on April 19th of

2020 when a young woman reported to Jefferson County Sheriff Deputies that she had been picked up

in Denver and driven into the foothills where she was sexually assaulted. From there, three
