In the news this morning, one man was injured after a masked gunman opened fire in a Delaware park on Wednesday night. It happened at 7.30 in the evening, a 23rd in Bower Street near the community center. Police say about 300 people were there for a softball game when the bullets started flying. A 24-year-old man was hit in the leg in the parking lot. A nurse who happened to be there was able to help the victim before he was

rushed to the hospital. She said he was, you know, he was freaking out and she was trying to just

keep him calm. The man is listed in critical condition at an area hospital. No arrests have been

made. Anyone with information is asked to contact Wilmington police. At least one person was killed in a

partial collapse of a surfside high-rise condo building in Miami.

Search and rescue efforts are now underway and at least eight people have been hospitalized after the collapse of the residential building.

It happened just before 1.30 a.m. Thursday at the Champlain Tower's South condo on Collins Avenue in Surfside, north of Miami.

Dozens of people have been impacted.

Eight people have been taken to area hospitals.

Search and rescue crews say that the efforts are underway,

and there are reports of more people that are trapped.

More than 80 Miami-Dade fire rescue units and technical rescue teams are on the scene.

The collapse happened on the beach side of the building,

a 12-story residential building

constructed in 1981.

There's no immediate word on the cause of this collapse.
