And this Thursday, it is the 22nd day of June.

0:15.9

Good morning, Kathy.

0:16.9

Good morning.

In the news this morning, the race against time to find a submersible that disappeared on its way to the Titanic wreckage site entered a new phase of desperation on this morning as the final hours of oxygen possibly left on board the tiny vessel ticked off the clock.

1:25.7

Even those who expressed optimism warned that many obstacles remain from pinpointing the vessel's location to reaching it with rescue equipment to bringing it to the surface, assuming it's still intact.

1:36.0

And all of that has to happen before the passenger's oxygen supply runs out.

1:39.9

When I flipped on the news of this morning, and that was at 4 a.m.

1:43.8

It was they said they had three hours of. Yeah. Now, they also say that it's not like when that ends. It's like, that's it. You know, there is like a slow. Yeah, it's a ballpark. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So the full area being searched was twice the size of Connecticut in waters as deep as two and a half miles. Jamie Frederick of the first Coast Guard

District said authorities were still holding out hope of saving the five passengers on board. This is
