Good morning in the news this morning.

A strong earthquake hit the Japanese city of Osaka during morning rush hour,

Monday killing at least three people and entering 214, Japan's government said. The 5.3 magnitude quake shook Osaka on Japan's main Honshu Island around 8 a.m. Monday

local time, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The Japan Meteorology Agency put the magnitude at 5.9.

It rated the quake at six lower on the seismic intensity scale, meaning that shaking

the shaking would have been severe enough to make it difficult to remain standing.

A nine-year-old girl was killed before, after becoming trapped by a damaged wall at a

They're saying, you know, you're seeing the activity with the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii,

and they're saying that they're noticing a tick up an activity around what they call the ring of fire.

So this is, you're going to start to see some more of this, they believe.

Yeah, so apparently on the other side of the Pacific was a 5.6 magnitude quake that struck Guatemala at about 8.30 p.m. local time,

and that's what they're saying. Both Japan and Guatemala are situated on the ring of fire,
