Good morning in the news this morning. Two bodies were found after two teens went missing in the Schuylkill River on Wednesday.

It happened near 56th Street and Eastwick Avenue around 715 in the evening.

Police say two boys, ages 15 and 14 years old, were seen going into the river for a swim but never resurfaced.

The two bodies were pulled from the river, but they have not yet been positively identified by police.

Family members, say 15-year-old, Quadere, Beverly, and his best friend were both missing.

One of the young boys jumped into the river and had difficulty swimming.

The second boy jumped in to help his friend, said Inspector Ray Evers with the Philadelphia

Police Department.

Quadere's grandmother told 6ABC, she's not surprised.

He tried to rescue someone.

He takes care of his brothers and sisters.

He has one brother he's really close to who is blind and he watches him.

So that's the type of person he is.

So when he saw his best friend fall in, he would be the type of person to go in and save him, she said.

It's wild, man, because you look at the river.

You look at the Schuylkill specifically, and it doesn't, you just don't see,

except in some spots where there's, you know, there's rocks and so on,

you'll see some white water, but you don't see how you can just get sucked under and taken away.
