Good morning in the news this morning. An officer assigned to investigate a rash of robberies at 7-11 stores in Bucks County shot the suspect who was robbing the Langhorne location. Police said it happened

at the 7-Eleven store on the 200 block of North Pine Street late Thursday night. The suspect was taken

to the hospital alive, but the severity of the injuries has not been released. This particular

7-Eleven has been robbed three times in recent weeks. Police say

the officer who shot the suspect was a member of a task force created by police in Bucks

County along with the FBI to investigate the 7-Eleven robberies.

Police have said, though, haven't said which department the officer is a member of.

At least nine evidence markers could be seen through the front door of the store.

Authorities have yet to provide any further details.

A statement is expected this morning from the Bucks County District Attorney and the store remains closed at the time.

Authorities in the Dominican Republic are claiming the deaths of a Pennsylvania psychotherapist

and an American couple five days later at the same resort may be unrelated incidents.

An autopsy reveals 41-year-old Miranda Shaw-Warner of Whitehall Township died of a type of heart

attack that's led to respiratory failure. Her husband says that she had a drink from the mini bar,

then suddenly collapsed. Dominican police are also investigating the deaths of the Maryland couple

at another hotel.

It was originally reported that they were at the same hotel, but now they're saying it was another

hotel on May 30th. Officials say 63-year-old Edward Nathan Holmes and 49-year-old Cynthia Ann

Day appeared to have suffered respiratory failure and fluid in the lungs. The deaths did take,
