In the news this morning, a warm holiday weekend leading into Memorial Day left Philadelphia riddled with numerous violent incidents, including at least 12 fatalities that pushed the city of brotherly love to more than 200 homicides before summer.

The bloodshed began early Sunday morning in Mill Creek as a 30-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds.

He died a short time later at the hospital. Several hours later, one man was shot and killed while two women were injured in a shooting in East Germantown. Early Saturday evening, police were called to a double shooting in Kensington that killed one man and injured a 25-year-old woman. About a half an hour later, a call came in that a four-year-old had shot himself in the hand in West Philadelphia. The child is expected to recover. Just after 10 p.m., police were called to the residence in Torsdale, where a 26-year-old man was shot in the leg. He's in stable condition. Now, Sunday morning, starting at 2.30 a.m., police were called to a triple shooting in Logan at 6.15 a.m., a double shooting in Strawberry Mansion and at 930, a deadly shooting in North

Philadelphia. Sunday afternoon at 1.45, officials say a young man between the ages of 18 and 21 was

found by police with multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body in Overbrook. He was rushed to the hospital

where he later died. Sunday evening, there were shootings in West Philadelphia Fair Hill and Wissonoming.

On Monday, police say a shooting at a party in Port Richmond erupted at 1.20 a.m.

and left two people dead and two other injured.

Authorities are also investigating a shooting at 16th in West Erie Avenue and another in East

Germantown. At least 70 shots were fired at two men in the 1700 block of Oxford Street.

Authorities say all of the shootings are under investigation. A certain brand of strawberries

has been recalled by the U.S. government after they've been linked to a multi-state outbreak of

hepatitis A infections. The strawberries are past the shelf life, but the FDA is warning

Americans to check their freezers in case the affected brand was purchased and then frozen for a later date.

This wouldn't be hepatitis brand strawberries, would it?

No, it's not.
