Good morning in the news this morning.

Injuries that a teen surfer suffered over the weekend and the waters off of Stone Harbor were confirmed to have likely been from a shark attack.

Officials said the incident happened at 3 p.m. on Sunday. First responders went to the call along the beach at 109th Street after 15-year-old Maggie Dresdowski of Exton reportedly sustained injuries from a shark attack while she was surfing.

Law enforcement said that she sustained several lacerations to her left foot and calf.

She received on-site treatment and was given six stitches at a nearby hospital to treat the wounds.

On Monday, officials said that her injuries were consistent with those typically associated with a shark of an unknown size and type.

So, yeah, you think six stitches.

I, you know, it's a big cut.

It's not huge, huge, but we're looking at a picture of her foot. Yeah, that would hurt, man. It's a little sliced up, yeah. And you, listen, you know, I've spent a lot of time, a lot of my life in the ocean and swimming out and, you know, covering distances, swimming across the bay, all that stuff.

That's all great. But if something ever brushes against you, oh, my God. You want to die. Yeah, I agree. So this would be nine levels of hell. Oh, yeah. I mean, we're actually going to talk to her later this morning. she was going to call him, but she was saying, like, she, after what, like, she said when she thought about it, she felt, it felt like a foot went into a mouth. Like she said now that she thinks about it, that's what it's right. It's just it. It's exactly what you do not want. Well, you know, I am- To go in the mouth of anything. I immediately went to my shark tracker app and there is a shark named Jekyll.

He's a white shark, and he was off of the coast. Like, he's been in that area for a while. He was, yesterday, he was pinging a little North Atlantic City, so, but this was on Sunday, so I don't know. So do we now want to say officially this was a Great White Shark? It was a Great White. No, no, no, no. No, it's a white shark. I think that's different than a Great White Shark attack. It's a good white shark. I think that is different than a Great White Shark. You know, it says the last recorded unprovoked attack in New Jersey came in 2017, and that was not

fatal either. Right, okay. Right. I don't think they're any different, by the way, Keth. I think very white shirts. Yeah. Oh, that's same? Oh, okay. Well, it wasn't, it didn't look. But Nitch's them aren't good. Nick on my app, it didn't look huge, like I imagined to Great White.

So I like next idea.
