Good morning. In the news this morning, a Philadelphia police officer shot a man with special needs who often begs for change. Police say the detective involved in the incident thought the man had a gun and fired from inside his unmarked car, but at this point, police haven't recovered a weapon. The 28-year-old man identified by family as Joel Johnson was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

The family says that he often asks for money and doesn't carry a weapon.
