Good morning. In the news this morning. All passengers at the Philadelphia International Airport

will be required to wear face coverings starting today. Beginning May 11th, all passengers,

airport personnel and all personnel of a tenant or a subcontractor are required to wear a face

covering, which covers the individual's nose and mouth while on airport premises, except to the

extent to the passenger or employee is eating or drinking or is

alone in the employee's office, the airport said Friday. Until now, only TSA workers were

required to wear face masks at the airport. It was a rule that had the president of the

Philadelphia's TSA union livid. Joseph Shucker, president of the local 333, said members were

upset. Passengers did not have to wear masks.

Now, he says, for his employees' sake, he wishes airlines would only let essential employees travel since he fears an increase in travelers as airlines try to make up for lost revenue.

Passengers flying with United, Delta, and JetBlue must already wear masks, and then Spirit American Southwest and Alaska Airlines are mandatory starting today, May 11th.

Two things here, Kathy.

It's good news for me because I just ordered my Bain face mask.

So that'll be cool when that comes.

But I remember when I was flying in February, I was struck by how many people were traveling

at that time with masks on.

So it seems like a likely progression, right?

Yeah.

And there was some sort of confusion as to who was setting these roles at the airport
