All right, today is Tuesday, May 10th. Good morning, Kathy.

Good morning. In the news this morning, three people are dead after an out-of-control SUV crashed into pedestrians and then a septa station in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

A police officer who was on patrol in the area saw white SUV traveling at a high rate of speed at Kensington and East Allegheny Avenue around 2.45 a.m. this morning.

Police say the SUV jumped a curb and then struck three pedestrians who were on the

sidewalk. Two victims, a male and a female were pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV then hit

the turnstile at SEPTA's Allegheny station before crashing into the station itself and catching on

fire. Police say the male driver of the SUV was killed. The third pedestrian, a 53-year-old

male was taken to Temple University Hospital with

serious injuries. He's listed in stable condition. Authorities say they have surveillance video

showing the crash. The Department of Licenses and inspections has been called to check the

structural damage at the station. The area is closed off to traffic as police continue to investigate.

Authorities are searching for a suspect who led Philadelphia police officers on a chase that

ended in Delaware County Monday night.

The pursuit started at 8.30 in the evening near Tyson and Toursdale Avenues in the city's

Toconi neighborhood.

The suspect led officers on to 95 and eventually out of the city.

The suspect's vehicle began sparking on the highway during the escape.

Around 9.30, the suspect could be seen getting out of his vehicle and running into a wooded area near the Villanova exit on the blue route. It's don't... I mean, you don't see chases like this that often here in Philadelphia. No, especially with the sparks. It's pretty cool. It's unclear why officers were chasing the suspects. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to contact police. So they last saw him running into the woods at this Villanova exit off of the blue route. So I wonder, I mean, obviously the crime had taken place in Philadelphia, but then, I mean, the entire car ride, there is a crime taking place. So then he ends up in Delaware County.
