Good morning in the news this morning. Flooding across the Delaware Valley left motorists stranded

and made a mess for yesterday morning's commute. Res residents in Ridley Park faced torrential rain that flooded

basements of a half a dozen homes the gushing sound of water was the movement of the lake that

had formed Monday morning behind the homes on East Rogers Street in Ridley Park following the

drenching rain three to four feet of water was suddenly rushing towards the home.

Neighbors are blaming the train tracks behind the home for the flooding.

A neighbors say a CSX crew was working on debris removal last week.

They believe the crews inadvertently blocked the sewer drain.

It wasn't until cleanup crews got to the drain and removed the debris that the water then dreamed away.

It was this was hitting while we were on the air. Yeah, yeah. So it was in the morning commute. I had no idea that it was coming down to that extent. No. I got home and I saw the news yesterday afternoon and they were just talking about it came down so quickly. It didn't have time to soak into the ground. Yeah. Just all this runoff happened. And that's why some of the worst traffic in years was yesterday during the morning commute. Again, I had no until I saw the news later on the day, I had no idea. It was as bad as it was out on the road. Same thing, Preston. Yeah, I had to, because the Skookle was flooded yesterday morning, I reported in different spots.

So it was like reduced to one lane.

So people were trying to take, you know, when you get off at Gladwin, you go down by the river. Yeah. Oh. That was all flooded. Oh, my God. It drained pretty quickly because that's how I got home yesterday because the Skokle was still jammed, but you could see, like,

you could still see the mud on the road from, yeah, where it had flooded.

So vehicles were stuck in the flash flood in New Jersey as well.

Drain's couldn't handle the amount of water and debris coming in,

causing major flooding on the roads and bad judgment calls from drivers.
