In the news this morning, Philadelphia police say a dollar store manager shot and killed

an attempted robbery suspect on Thursday night.

It happened at 8.30 at the Dollar General located at 9th in Gerard.

According to Philadelphia Police, the 36-year-old male suspect walked into the store, announced a robbery, and demanded the cashier to open the register. That's when the worker got the manager's attention, which ultimately led to the shooting. The suspect then brandished a makeshift weapon. It was in a shape of a gun and covered in plastic police, say, the store manager, who has a license to carry, shot the suspect at least one time in the head

police say he died at the scene no other injuries were reported of all the potential establishments

yeah and just probably a cash store yeah true true no the yeah okay police are still investigators lots. True. Okay. Police are still investigating. Lots of single dollar bills. Right. Police are still investigating how many people were inside the store at the time of the shooting. The store manager is not expected to be charged. A similar incident happened earlier this week when a suspect tried to rob a man inside of a smoke shop. Police said the male suspect approached a 45-year-old man who was standing by an ATM inside

the store within seconds.

The customer was able to get the gun away from the suspect before shooting him several times. The suspect died in the altercation. The victim was not injured. I think of that scene. I'm sorry, Casey, interrupt. I know you wanted to say something. But there's a scene in the movie Antoine Fisher, if you've ever seen that, where his friend goes in.

He doesn't know he's going to rob the guy.

Well, they're making the point, because it's weird that there was a story, I figure where I saw it, but you know that 7-Eleven that's right used to be right across from City Hall?
